Undeniable. The scene bears more than a faint whiff of conspicuous self-regard among the regulars, but this is Park Slope, after all, and long after the nuclear winter set off by the more overwrought locals’ egos, the caffeine zealot in me believes Gorilla will still be standing, untarnished. I get my, er, G-Bean closer to my Boerum Hill digs, at Flying Saucer, but there’s something transporting about a grab and go on Fifth. An amazing bean experience, and I’m from the Pacific Northwest, where it rains coffee beans. (via Jeffrey M. on Yelp)
